About White Oak Run Recovery Center

We Believe in Treating the Individual

We recognize that alcohol and substance abuse comes in various sizes, shapes and forms. Most drug and alcohol recovery centers offer clients with one-dimensional treatment where every client has to fit in a “box.” We custom design a treatment program specific to the clients’ needs. We designed programs for Young Adults, Professionals, Baby Boomers, and clients who are struggling with trauma and / or co-occurring disorders. At White Oak Run, we recognize that addiction is a disease that requires a comprehensive therapeutic approach and the active involvement of the family unit to achieve stable, long-term recovery.

Our philosophy is built upon the belief that chemical dependence, if left untreated, is a chronic, progressive and fatal illness. The problem is pervasive and affects not only the identified dependent individual, but also those who are in any type of intimate relationship with them. Their family members, spouses, friends, employers, coworkers. Chemical dependence places an enormous strain on the family system and places all members in jeopardy.
