Lecture Groups and Process Groups
- Lecture groups are specifically for learning all about addiction in a science based way. The best way to solve a problem is to learn about the problem. The lecture groups will discuss exactly what it is you are suffering from.
- Process groups are targeted towards learning how to communicate honestly and effectively. Process groups allow the sharing of thoughts, feelings and ideas in an open and honest manner. During that “process” it will teach you how to be honest with others as well as yourself.
Both groups give you the tools to beat your addiction and move forward with your recovery.
Evening Individual and Group Therapy
- Our evening groups encourage patients to cover a variety of topics they wish to address while they have the group to relate with and help them. In this group interaction, we allow you to obtain problem-solving strategies from other patients. Education about substance abuse is key to recovering and developing coping skills. You can also talk about any issues you may be having and work on tools to prevent relapse with the added feedback of the group.
- Individual therapy is a one-on-one session with a trained clinical staff member that can guide you in early recovery. This one on one atmosphere will allow you to take a deeper look into any issues that may be hindering recovery or pushing you towards relapse. Individual therapy is also a great time to celebrate your little successes during the day, to talk about personal feelings, and to set new goals. Our individual therapy provides in depth emotional and mental healing to really help with those deep seated and personal issues.
Our well-rounded staff can help you at any stage of your recovery process and develop the best life plan for you!
